Skill Level: All levels are welcome

This workshop will foster a deep appreciation for the ‘Beauty’ of imagery in monochrome. Learn how the tonal scale affects perception of a photograph. Our approach will be to minimize thinking & judging. Rather, we will discuss ways to more fully engage intuition & improvisation in the creation of engaging monochromatic work. See how simplicity, stillness, and wonder can help cultivate gratitude for compelling B&W photography. Field excursions with the instructor will be conducted in Coupeville & vicinity. These field sessions will provide an opportunity for classroom evaluation. As well, one-on-one time with Robert will be available to review material brought to the workshop (digital files and/or prints).
