Discover how photography and mindfulness combine to awaken creativity and deepen your awareness. This experiential workshop explores photography as a mindful practice, inviting you into a state of presence and creative flow. The class demonstrates how mindfulness enhances your photographic perception, creativity, storytelling, and emotional connection with the world around you. Both photography and mindfulness share the intention of being fully present in each moment. Whether you’re drawn to abstract details, expansive landscapes, expressive portraits, architectural lines, or fleeting moments in travel and street photography, the principles of mindful photography apply across all genres.
Through guided exercises you’ll learn to see everyday subjects with fresh eyes, embrace your natural curiosity, and create images that genuinely resonate. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer looking to reconnect with your creative spark or simply seeking a more present, intentional way of seeing, you’ll leave inspired, refreshed, and equipped to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful photographic practice. Bring a camera and/or camera phone to participate in the interactive exercises.
