Make your marks, brush your strokes, and record them all on fabric. Bold and expressive use of Procion MX dyes is the main goal of this workshop. Sue teaches her layered painterly approach to surface design using direct application, monoprinting, and various other techniques on natural fibers including cotton, silk, and linen. In addition, emphasis is placed on developing sophisticated color combinations and exploring the use of unusual tools. Sue shares technical information, helpful hints, and her unique variations in an extensive color handout.
