Artist Statement: Ilene Sorenson was introduced to Fiber Arts in the 70’s while earning her Bachelor’s Degree. Textiles continue to be her primary focus. Over time, she gravitated toward three-dimensional pieces which are architectural in nature. For the most part, she employs a monochromatic palette.
