Creativity with Your Camera
Susan & Neil Silverman, Instructors
Dates: Friday, May 20th – Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 (9am-4pm)
The workshop will be one of demonstrations, discussions, “hands on” with your camera or phone-camera.. We will work with lighting, depth of field, , shutter speed, white balance, ISO, aperture settings— the “nuts and bolts” of the technical aspect of making a great image. But we also will share knowledge and inspiration on the compositional and exciting side of photography that every photographer develops to create their own perspective and story telling ability.
Itinerary: We will meet at the art center on Friday, May 20th for introductions, logistics, etc. Saturday the 21st will be packed full of demonstrations, discussions and knowledge sharing. But we will also get out and about with our cameras for application of techniques. Sunday the 22nd will be also partially shooting and wrap up of questions, challenges, etc.
It will be a fun workshop, you should go home with some lovely photos, some new or rekindled knowledge, and inspiration to find your own “eye” to become a creative and inventive photographer.
