Join us on a mixed-media painting adventure where intuitive meets intentional as we explore an array of art materials, techniques, and tools to make our unique marks come alive in a neutral or limited palette. We will harness our inner playful child and abandon harsh criticism, instead embracing wise discernment! While making layers of intuitive marks our foundation, we will seek out jumping off points for an intentional subject or crop out happy accidental abstract pieces (refining them further as desired). This process lends itself to accepting and welcoming what is right in front of you; perhaps refining it into what it is meant to be. This class is for artists of all levels looking to let go and have a lot of fun learning new techniques and discovering authentic and personal marks.
