Acrylics are great for outdoor painting, especially in the Pacific Northwest! Join Charlie as he takes you on two days plein air painting on Whidbey island, and two days in the studio working your sketches into larger paintings. Learning will be based upon the skill level of the group, and tailored to individuals, but will include: how to create committed and unique paintings, how to find your style, how to use bold shapes of colour to tell your story, how to create more form and space in your work, and many other subjects. Charlie will demo in acrylics, however all the instruction will be applicable to oil painters.
