Expressive Nature Photography
Brenda Tharp, Instructor
Dates: September 9th – 13th, 2019 (9am-4pm)
Materials Fee: $0
What makes a picture more expressive? It’s the photographer’s eye and reaction to what is seen that guides how somethings is photographed. The deeper the feeling towards a subject, the more that personal vision is expressed.
Join Brenda in a week of discovering pictures in many locations in nature that mean something to you. Celebrate the light, the delicate qualities of flowers, the textures, patterns, shapes and forms of things in nature through your camera. Create the strongest compositions you can of what you see. Then, consider also creating abstract impressions of natural subjects. Potential is unlimited! Through visual presentations, exercises in the field, and image reviews, you’ll refine your vision and technique to express the beauty and wonder of nature through your lens.
