Keron Psillas, award-winning photographer and author, offers this new course to discover and refine a deeper intent for your photography.
From Keron: After teaching The Photography of Intent for 10 years, it is time to move to the next level. Layering Your Intent, my new 5 day intensive course, will bring all the principles discussed in the previous course to bear on a deeper discussion of our creative act.
With classroom instruction, discussion of images, daily critiques of new work, and capsules of information covering book creation, Lightroom developing, and daily work in the field, our week will be full to overflowing with inspiration and breakthrough. Each lecture is designed to encourage you to reach to the next level. Perhaps you want to exhibit…or create a book for a larger audience…fill in gaps of technical knowledge, or perhaps you simply (and importantly) want to deepen your ability to create expressive images. This class will support your intent. Join me in one of my favorite places on earth, the PNWAS in Coupeville, to recharge your love affair with creative expression.
This workshop is open to all photographers with a working knowledge of their camera. If you wish to participate in image reviews, you will need to bring a laptop and a working knowledge of the digital workflow. This would include the ability to download your images to your laptop, make selections, and transfer images to your flash drive for projection from the class computer.
***Note classroom hours: 10 am to 5:30 pm (but with flexibility) to allow us to shoot in the good light morning and evening! We’ll have two field trips during the week (via carpool) and a celebratory final dinner on Friday night.
