Fiona Duthie, Instructor
Dates April 26-29, 2018 (9am-4pm)
Materials Fee: $120
skill level: Intermediate to Advanced
Big Ink is all about creating bold dramatic surfaces on garments that engage the wearer and the viewer. This is design that celebrates life and movement! We explore sumi-e ink drawing on silks fabrics for depth and line, plus exciting fibre fringes that are both elegant and exotic. Garment design will be covered encompassing colour, form and fit, plus seamless garment construction for feltmaking. We will cover using resist additions, wire and cord for additional shaping and fit. Participants can make either a dress, vest, skirt or small jacket.
Materials fee: $120.00
