Pinot and Printmaking Playdate
Come and join me for a playdate (yes, adults can have playdates too!).
While sipping our glasses of Pinot Noir, we’ll explore ways to use gelatin plates and non-toxic
inks to create free and spontaneous monoprints. There are no rules or stress-provoking
expectations related to this process—and no mistakes! Every print is an experiment in layering
color/texture, and every pull of a print results in an enjoyable visual surprise. You will be
successful on your very first attempt!
But be careful—you are likely to become addicted to “trying just one more”!
All supplies are provided. If you find that you love the process and want to continue the
exploration at home, you may purchase a geli plate and a brayer (roller) for $25.
You will take home many one-of-a-kind beautiful prints. These can be used as fine art to frame,
or you may use them for gift wrap/tags, cards, or as collage items to put into your mixed media
